Nintendo Switch gives players a throwback of their 2020 gaming experience

2021 is right around the corner and to reminisce the year that is about to end, Nintendo Switch is allowing users to look back at their gaming for 2020. The Japanese company has personalised its “Year in Review” to let players get an overview of their 2020 Switch experience.

This throwback will give users answers to questions about the number of hours they spent on the console, their favourite game and the game they found most challenging, amongst others. The “Year in Review” not only serves to give insight about users’ gameplay, but also allows them to learn more about their gamer status. While this feature is similar to the 2019 “Year in Review”, it will be interesting to see how the effects of pandemic and its consequent lockdown on gameplay.

However, unlike for last year’s overview, Nintendo Switch does not enable players to know the first day they used the console nor the first game they attempted. Monthly activity and overall Nintendo Gold points will still be revealed.

To access their data, players from the USA and Canada need to check the official Nintendo website for the dedicated page. Users from other countries might get email prompts about the review.
