The group sold subscription plans to cheat in online games

Chinese authorities have recently shut down one of the world’s largest operation dedicated to selling video game cheats.

Cheating in games like “Call of Duty” and “Counter-Strike” is quite frequent. In a report, giant tech group Tencent collaborated with Chinese authorities to reveal the cheating operation. It is the biggest bust of this kind in the world. The group has amassed over $750 million.

According to the authorities, the group reportedly sold subscriptions which could cost up to $200 a month. Players then had access to a program giving them an advantage during online matches.  Police described the group as the “world’s biggest” cheating operation due to the large sums of money and games involved.
