Players can still claim “Watch Dogs 2” via the Uplay service

Since too many players connected to Ubisoft’s servers to download their free copy of “Watch Dogs 2”, the developers have decided to extend their Ubisoft Forward giveaway offer.

Ahead of its Ubisoft Forward event, developers had revealed that the PC version of “Watch Dogs 2” will be gifted to all who watched the livestreamed presentation.

This event was a replacement for Ubisoft’s traditional show at E3 which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Naturally, the announcement of a free video game attracted a lot of gamers who rushed to the developing studio’s website to claim their gift. Unfortunately, the servers at Ubisoft could not handle the number of people connected to the Uplay service. As such, the French company is extending its offer for an undetermined period of time.

Aside from this offer, Ubisoft also revealed several trailers at Ubisoft Forward, including teasers for “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”, “Watch Dogs Legion” and “Far Cry 6”.
