A new study has revealed that almost 3 out of 4 French people occasionally play video games. This trend has grown exponentially following the lockdown associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the Médiamétrie Institute, over 38 million French people have started playing video games since 2020. The number of individuals playing regularly has also increased by 6 points.

The field of gaming is booming in France. Following the Covid-19 pandemic, people have turned to video games to connect with their friends and family members. This also explains how 61% of gamers have admitted that gaming titles have allowed them to belong to a community.
