“eFootball 2022” was meant to compete with the “FIFA” series
A couple of days ago, “eFootball 2022” was launched. The football game has been criticised for its horrible graphics which results from increasing pressure to rush the development of video games.
The newest entry of the franchise, which was previously known as “Pro Evolution Soccer”, was Konami’s new chance to compete with the popular “FIFA” series. However, the release was a complete failure.
As publishers require video games to become more sophisticated, bugs arise more easily. Furthermore, with the increasing need to release new titles every year, developers do not have enough time to prepare a proper testing phase.
The developers of “eFootball 2022” have since released a statement, promising to improve the gameplay in the coming weeks.
