Fans of video games will, once again, have to follow E3 online. Even if the organisers planned for this year’s edition to be a physical event, ultimately it will finally remain entirely digital. This is a tough blow for E3 which is regarded as one of the biggest video game showcases in the world.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and rising concerns regarding the Omicron variant, the organisers of E3 2022 have decided to move the event to an online one.
At this point in time, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the organisers of the event, has not provided any new dates but the showcase should happen sometime this summer.
