E3 resumed as an online format

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is back after its cancelled 2020 event due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a preventive measure, this year’s iteration was moved to an online format with livestream presentations by tech giants like Microsoft and Ubisoft.

According to the organisers of E3, this year’s event wanted to celebrate the video games which kept the gaming community sane during the pandemic.

As part of the event, Ubisoft revealed an adaptation of the blockbuster movie, “Avatar”. The game is called “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” and it is a first-person, action-adventure project in which players will control a Na’vi character.

Furthermore, gamers got a glimpse of “Rainbow Six Extraction” as well as “Far Cry 6”.
